Here's what our former students have to say!

“It was an incredible chance to improve myself and learn something valuable...”Mrs. Warner, a retired administrative assistant said, smiling. “I couldn’t resist.”

“At first, I thought, ‘Well now I’ll never have to pay anyone else to do my taxes.’ And that’s true. But last year I earned a very nice part-time income from January to April and I couldn’t be happier. Now I tell people I moonlight as a tax whiz. My grandchildren think it’s cool.”

“I’m not tied down to any one place,” said Steve Newman, a college junior.“I can take this skill and earn extra cash. And my hours are my own.”

Who gets hired?

Although some graduates have a background in accounting or bookkeeping, most do not. “What’s more important is their desire to learn and a willingness to work with people,” says Robert Hogg a Jackson Hewitt franchisee with several tax offices. “Once students learn our state of the art computerized tax software, they’ll have no problem preparing tax returns. I actually prefer to hire my tax school graduates over others, as we have gotten to know one another during the course.”
